The Railway Hanoi Project

is a community project aiming at supporting local families of the train street.

We develop 4 main activities:

Free English lessons for the kids of Hanoi Train Street
Volunteer to teach English and share joyful moments with local kids who want to learn or improve in English. You will help opening up a broader perspective for them!

Art and street painting in Hanoi Train Street
Share your inspiration and creativity with locals and tourists, and help make Hanoi Train Street a more beautiful place! We have already made several wall paintings along the tracks.

Business development support for families of the Train Street
With the touristic growth of the Train Street, families get better opportunities to set up a business. Help them connect with the tourists through business advice and English translation.

Meet the elders and learn about their life on Hanoi Train Street
Have an early morning tea with the elders of the Train Street. Give them a short English lesson or a massage and connect with their way of life in the heart of Hanoi!

How to get involved?

There are 3 ways to be part of THE RAILWAY HANOI PROJECT

You can volunteer to teach English to our kids, submit an artistic project to decorate our street or help us with many other projects to support the locals along the tracks! To know more about how you can get involved, send us an email or visit us directly at the coffee shop.

If you want to make a donation to support the project, please contact us so we can define together which part of the project you can get involved in.

Are you a journalist or a blogger? You can help us give more visibility to The Railway Hanoi Project. Feel free to contact us so we can arrange a meeting!
