Welcome to

The Railway Hanoi icon

The first coffeeshop on Hanoi Train Street.
And a unique meeting-point for the railway community.

Our mission: Create bridges between the tourists, the locals and the train.

Due to the coronavirus, the train street has been inaccessible to tourists.
Our coffeeshops are currently closed until further notice.

On this website, you can find all the information about the projects run by The Railway Hanoi from 2017 to 2019.  Although our activities are currently suspended, you can still contact us if you wish to know more about life along the tracks and the Train Street community.

What's going on now?

For 2 full years, The Railway Hanoi was the beating heart of the train street community. While the street and our coffeeshop are still closed, the founder Thao Quach keeps the memories of the train street alive in video.

Let's talk!

While the Train Street is temporarily closed, you can still contact us if you wish to know more about the train community and life along the tracks.

Although our activities are currently suspended, we keep close ties with the families of the train street and will be able to give you information about the current state of tourism in Hanoi.
